1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Aprofy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Aprofy is a study planning application with an integrated timer. Users create subjects, set estimated study hours, track their sessions with a built-in timer or manual logging, and view real statistics compared to their plan. The App helps students organize and optimize their study time.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Aprofy offers a free tier with up to 3 subjects and full timer access. Premium subscriptions unlock additional features:

• Monthly: Recurring monthly subscription.
• Annual: Recurring annual subscription with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

Subscription details:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial period, if applicable).
• The free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions).
• Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

4. Service Availability

While we intend to maintain and update Aprofy for the foreseeable future, we do not guarantee indefinite availability of the App or its online features. Core study planning and timer functionality will remain available offline regardless of server status.

5. User Data and Accounts

Aprofy does not require account creation. Your study data is stored locally on your device. Your subscription is managed through your Apple ID account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and backing up your data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Aprofy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App to develop competing products or services.
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App.
• Circumvent or disable any security or access control features.

7. Intellectual Property

The App's software, design, user interface, graphics, logos, illustrations, and brand are owned by Aprofy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aprofy and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App.
• Loss of study data due to device failure or app deletion.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Any third-party conduct on the App.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via other communication channels. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
